Rustic Ceiling Fans

Rustic ceiling fans are a great addition to log homes, cottages, or any room in your home where you want to create a rustic theme. Rooms such as the den or games room are very popular with many home owners as the room they want to customize into a theme room. As with any style of fan you are looking at, it well worth the extra time and effort to look into each leading manufacturer’s own interpretation of that style. Rustic ceiling fans offer a large variety of designs some of which include; bear, moose, or elk drawings with antlers or claws incorporated into the design. Other designs include what looks like the trunk of a tree as the main housing with wood blades that look like planks from the same tree with branches extending out for the lighting. Yet other rustic ceiling fans are all metal incorporating the look of an old hand held oil lamp.

Rustic ceiling fans can further be customized by adding ceiling fan light kit or a remote control that can be either mounted on the wall or a hand held device. To ensure maximum comfort and performance make sure the ceiling fan is mounted with at least 7’ of clearance from the bottom of the blades to the floor, if your ceiling is higher than 8’ consider adding a downrod.
